ACS Elections

Members of the ACS,

The ACS PSS Executive Commitee strongly encourages ACS members to vote during the local and national ACS elections. The Puget Sound Section will conduct its election later this fall. If you are member of the ACS, please cast your vote for our local section officers when you receive your ballot. A link to the ballot with bios for all the candidates will be sent to ACS members by a special mailing via SurveyMonkey. An announcement will be posted at our website.

The National ACS election cycle is open now.  ACS has sent out the national ballot to all members. In addition to voting for the 2024 President-Elect (and other positions as required within each district), members will cast a very important vote for a constitutional amendment to the society’s bylaws. The amendment will add international representation on the Board of Directors. The full council approved the petition at the August meeting and the Board of Directors also has voted in support of the amendment. Please review this carefully and cast your vote. It requires approval of 2/3 of the votes to ratify the change. Please review the attached information from ACS to learn more about this change.
