Sheri Tonn named Volunteer of the Year (VOTY) in the Puget Sound Section

Parallel with the Puget Sound Section’s celebration of Women’s History month, we also saluted Dr. Sheri Tonn who was named Volunteer of the Year (VOTY) in the Puget Sound Section. She joins 25 other individuals across ACS who were recognized in a recent issue of the C&EN. The local section is very fortunate to have such an amazing leader and community advocate for over 30 years. Congratulations Sheri and THANK YOU!

The following is from the award citation at the ACS website. “Dr. Sheri Tonn has been a member of ACS for over 50 years, with her volunteer work beginning as an undergraduate student and continuing as an active volunteer and leader in the Puget Sound section.
