International Chemistry Olympiad Gold Medal Winner from the Puget Sound Section!

William Wang, Lakeside High School (Seattle), won a gold medal in the 57th International Chemistry Olympiad, July 5-14, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates! Congratulations to William! William placed 16th among 354 contestants from around the world and earned the highest score on the US team. The US team brought home four gold medals. The other three gold medalists on the US team were Max Zhou, Yash Shah, and Adam Madni. Congratulations to William!  We are very proud that you are a resident in the Puget Sound Section of the American Chemical Society. The ACS Puget Sound Section will celebrate William’s achievement at our September 27th Awards Banquet.
