The ACS has continued its advocacy with strategic communication. The following activities and suggestions were shared with councilors during the recent meeting in WA DC.
- ACS continued its Non-Partisan engagement with the Administration and Congressional leaders. ACS Board of Directors met with 20+ members of Congress and their staff to advocate for robust research funding.
- ACS is also focusing on collaborative advocacy. ACS and other scientific organizations are working together to amplify advocacy efforts.
- The ACS community engagement efforts included 2,600+ letters sent through Act4Chemistry
- ACS has conducted a federal cut impact survey of chemistry departments.
