The 2026 ACS PSS annual awards banquet was again a great success. Held for the fifth time at Renton Technical College in Renton, WA, the event drew 54 attendees, including 10 executive committee members, three 50-year members, and two 70-year members. Three ACS PSS undergraduate scholarship winners attended, a high school student honored for participation in the Chemistry Olympiad, and the ACS PSS High School Teacher of the Year awardee.
The program gave attendees an opportunity to hear from all honorees. Students discussed their volunteer and research work. The Chemistry Olympiad honoree spoke enthusiastically about the study camp experience. Long-term members entertained the audience during the panel Q&A with a show-and-tell and stories about their involvement in ACS.
